Video streaming from the IRIS Connect teaching website is not working behind a proxy.
Video streaming services from the IRIS Connect website do not work when the user's device is behind a proxy — both automatic and manually configured proxies:
The user is presented with connection error messages. Opening all ports on the firewall does not resolve the problem.
Luckily, IRIS Connect are aware of this issue. They must enable tunnel streaming when behind a proxy for all associated school accounts. This utilizes the RTMPTE protocol which resolves the issue.
